Methods Cell Isolation and Culture We obtained surgical specimens of proliferating infantile hemangiomas under a human-subject protocol approved by the Committee on Clinical Investigation at Children’s Medical center Boston. The clinical analysis was confirmed by histologic evaluation in the hospital’s pathology department. Written educated consent was obtained for use of the infantile hemangioma specimens, according to the provisions of the Declaration of Helsinki.
