New reports however suggest that a mere 60 minutes exercise per day will keep middle aged weight gain in women away. Current federal recommendations suggest 150 minutes weekly or 30 minutes five days a week of moderate to intense exercise to lose excess weight. These new results show that more time with moderate activity is necessary. Pursuits like walking, leisurely bicycle rides or playing capture may be plenty of as moderate activities.
